♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦♦Notice is hereby given that North Logan City will hold a Municipal General Election November 3, 2015 for the following offices: three (3) City Council Members - 4 year term. If necessary, a Primary Election will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
Persons desiring to be a candidate or nominate a candidate for the 2015 Municipal Election must file in person (a declaration of candidacy or a nomination petition) between June 1, 2015 and June 8, 2015 at the North Logan City Recorder's Office (2076 N 1200 E, North Logan) during regular office hours [Weekdays between 8am and 5pm]. Declaration packets or Nomination packets will be available for pickup between June 1, 2015 and June 8, 2015.
Candidates must meet eligibility and residency requirements per Utah Code Section 20A-9-203. Candidates will be listed on the ballot in accordance with Utah Code Section 20A-6-305 (Master ballot position list).

BEAR RIVER CELEBRATION & FREE FISHING DAY - Sat. Jun 6, 2015Fun family activities and free fishing are the highlights of the award winning 14th annual Bear River Celebration and Free Fishing Day. On Saturday June 6, 2015 children and teens (along with their families) are invited to Logan’s Willow Park West - Skylor Pond (500 W 700 S in Logan) from 10 am to 2 pm to learn about water, conservation, water quality, wildlife, recycling, and the Bear River Watershed. Enjoy free fishing, educational booths, and activities such as fly tying, fish printing, face painting, and other hands on activities. Kids can check out fishing poles and try to “catch the big one” for free and without a license. This year, we will have LIVE animals, take home nature crafts courtesy of Home Depot, and information and nature crafts about Beavers. Prizes will be given out to the first 200 youth who complete the booth activities.
